Mrs. LaBarbera has been having an incredible summer adventure in Greece and Turkey! βοΈπ Her trip has included visiting the historic library at Ephesus, exploring the Acropolis and Parthenon in Athens, and taking in the beautiful views of Santorini. She even walked 588 steps down the hillside in Santorini!
Mrs. LaBarbera also visited a fun Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant in Athens and enjoyed a beautiful sunset in Turkey. What an amazing summer filled with history, culture, and unforgettable memories! ππβ¨

Congratulations to Lake Ridge students Malachi Eads and Mason Montagnari for their outstanding performances in the ETSU Science Fair! π¬π Malachi earned 1st place in 4th Grade Physical Science, and Mason earned 2nd place in 5th Grade Biological Science. Both students were recognized at the June Board Meeting for their accomplishments. We are so proud of our Explorers and all of their hard work! β¨

Yesterday we officially welcomed the future Lake Ridge Class of 2039 during Kindergarten Registration! ππ Families had the opportunity to meet teachers, tour classrooms, complete registration activities, and get a first look at all the fun waiting for our newest Explorers this fall. The day is almost here! πΏβ¨ We are so excited to welcome the future Lake Ridge Class of 2039 for Kindergarten Registration tomorrow from 9 AM to 3 PM. Future Explorers and their families will have the opportunity to meet teachers, tour classrooms, and get ready for an exciting kindergarten year ahead. Thank you for your patience waiting for the π shoe tags π to arrive! They are now ready for pickup in the front office between 9 am and 3 pm Monday through Friday.
Students who raised $35 or more earned a shoe tag. A recipient list will be available in the front office at pickup.

Lake Ridge ECLC Pre-K registration is now open! βοΈπ We are excited to welcome our youngest Explorers for another great year of learning, growth, and fun. Children must be four years old on or before August 15th and fully potty trained to enroll. Registration packets can be picked up in the school office. Calling all future Lake Ridge cheerleaders! ππ£ Registration is now open for the 2026-2027 Lake Ridge Cheerleading season for rising kindergarten through 5th grade students. This is a great opportunity for students to build school spirit, make new friends, and have fun being part of a team throughout the school year. Be sure to register before July 1st!

π¦π Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Barter, and Mrs. Lujan had a dino-mite time at the opening day of the Johnson City Public Libraryβs Unearth a Story Summer Reading Challenge! Along with their little readers, they enjoyed exploring all the fun activities, including adopting a dinosaur, creating paleontologist badges, coloring dinosaurs, digging for discoveries at the excavation site, and posing for pictures at the themed photo booth. It was the perfect way to kick off a summer filled with books, learning, and adventure!
