Dear double reed friends and students! I am fortunate to have received new scholarships to support double reed study at East Tennessee State University for Fall 2024! We have an excellent orchestra, and a minimum of $4000 per year is available for orchestra performers based on audition, with a FULL RIDE possible for oboe and bassoon. ETSU offers BM degrees in performance and music education (with a 5th year Master of Arts in Teaching option) and BA degrees in composition, music history, and performance. We provide terrific performance and mentorship opportunities within a supportive program that values student success. Please consider studying with me in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee! I'm always happy to provide free introductory lessons to meet new students.
