🎲 Congratulations to Digital Media student Sara Tendulkar for your accomplishments in getting 2nd prize at the iBucs Student Venture Pitch Competition!

Sara is an international student from India who's work focuses on concept art, character design, animation, and storytelling. She appreciates all medias, and is an author of 8 published fiction/ fantasy books!

The iBucs competition is a Shark Tank style event where students pitch their ideas to receive funding, mentorship, and development opportunities. This competition is very competitive and high pressure!

Sara's project surrounds her fast-paced storytelling game titled "Tale Tossers." Players roll dice and improvise stories using their imagination or objects around them! It's a funny, chaotic, and laughter-filled game.

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our table to talk, or to ask about our program! The expo was awesome; our students got to learn so much about the animation industry, meet so many new people, and attend panels/network with industry professionals.

🔮It's that time again!

Join us from 6-7 pm on April 1st at the Brinkley Center (Room 137B) for our Midpoint Sorting Event, where we'll celebrate Digital Media's ✨ Chosen Ones ✨!

The kick-off starts around 6:20 pm. Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged! 🎭

Pizza and drinks will be provided as well. 🍕🥤

A warm, Spring Tuesday afternoon- 25 years ago- the Scott M. Niswonger Digital Media Center was unveiled for future students specializing in animation, hypermedia, and digital visualization. ✨

The "Pixels and Presence" Exhibition by one of our current MFA students, Robert Pierce, will be happening from April 6th - May 15th at the William King Museum of Art!

Please be sure to stop by and show your support! Robert has created stunning 3D work that is incredibly unique and innovative.

🎉 Today, we're celebrating ETSU Honor's College student Ella Gruhn, who has recently been admitted to Harvard's Summer Program through the Honors College!

Ella is a Digital Media student with a concentration in 3D Animation while double majoring in German with a minor in Global Citizenship. They first heard about this opportunity through the Honor's College, to which they applied and very quickly got accepted! The Honor's College is also fully covering the costs of this trip. Pretty awesome!

While the program isn't concentrated in Digital Media, Ella is absolutely thrilled about this opportunity, having dreamed about attending Harvard for a long time. They previously studied abroad in Japan through ETSU, and loved taking what they experienced there to apply to their own work. They look forward to experiencing the perspectives of others and being at Harvard.

Congratulations, Ella! Keep up the stellar work! 🎉
