This is exciting news for ETSU and the region. Congratulations to our own Ron Roach, and to Stephen Marshall in the Department of Media and Communication!

ETSU faculty are helping shape the future of music in Tennessee.

Two university leaders have been appointed to the state’s Music Advisory Council, bringing expertise in Appalachian Studies and research commercialization to a statewide effort focused on music, culture, and economic growth.

It’s another sign of ETSU’s role as the Flagship of Appalachia.
