We’re celebrating Christian Academy of the Cumberlands on earning their inaugural accreditation with Association of Christian Schools International.
This milestone reflects a deep commitment to excellence in Christian education. We’ve been truly grateful (and yes—tickled!) to contract with CAC and walk alongside them to support this journey.
Congratulations to the entire team—we celebrate with you!

I simply asked if I could “steal” the sugar from their table, and God offered an encounter.
During a recent trip to Nashville, I was sitting in a lunch meeting with Jeff Dalrymple (Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention, SBC Executive Committee), and at the table beside us sat T-RAN and his lovely wife, Alexis. T-Ran was fresh from a morning with TN Governor, Bill Lee, where he was named Music Ambassador for the state of TN.
T-Ran is not only a gifted artist, but a messenger. His music carries a depth of surrender and faith that resonates well beyond melody. His latest single, “More of You,” is a powerful invitation to lay down self and lean fully into the presence of God. If you haven’t listened, it’s worth your time:

Beyond the music, T-Ran and Alexis are doing meaningful Kingdom work through their nonprofit, Live and Not Die. Their mission is rooted in hope and restoration. Learn more about their work here:

I hope you’ll take a moment to check out their music and ministry.
You’ll be encouraged - I was!

For years, I’ve worked alongside boards of directors as a school administrator, accreditation leader, and strategic planning consultant.
Grateful to put those experiences to use in another board service opportunity by joining the Northeast Tennessee regional board of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF).
Honored to contribute to mission-driven governance that invests in the next generation.

Recently had the privilege of partnering with a Christian school to design a fully articulated 7th Grade Curriculum Architecture.
Strong schools don’t just rely on great teaching, they build coherent systems.
This project included mission alignment, course descriptions across disciplines, instructional scope & sequence charts, a fully populated curriculum map (standards through assessments), faculty input integration, and accreditation-ready documentation.
The goal was clarity.
Clarity for teachers.
Clarity for leadership.
Clarity for boards and accreditors.
When curriculum is intentionally designed and clearly communicated, it becomes a stabilizing force for the entire school.
If your school is thinking about strengthening curriculum coherence or preparing for accreditation, we are always glad to connect.

Accreditation, at its best, isn’t about compliance.
It’s about reflection.
It’s about asking hard questions.
It’s about stewarding a mission well. This week’s ACSI INSPIRE visit at Metrolina Christian Academy was a powerful reminder of that truth.
ACSI has created a process that is both rigorous and deeply supportive—inviting schools into thoughtful reflection that leads to mission-aligned improvement. That kind of leadership strengthens not just individual schools, but Christian education as a whole.
MCA approached the process with excellence, transparency, and humility. The level of preparation, engagement, and openness from the leadership team made this visit truly high-level.
I was equally grateful for the review team—leaders from different schools coming together in collaborative professionalism to support and encourage another school’s growth.
This is Christian education at its best—faithful stewardship in service to students.
Grateful to be part of this work.
