Reminder: a healthy lifestyle requires changes in the foods we eat, drinks we drink and the movement of our bodies.
Doing the same things and expecting different results doesn’t work. Doing the work and making the changes is what works!

May we all rise above these emotions and not allow them to control us to a point where they negatively impact our health. How do we rise above? We acknowledge the emotion and then manage it before it manages us. Angry? Breathe. Grieving? Journal. Worried? Meditate. Fearful? Express gratitude. Stressed? Exercise. These healthy habits work for me when I’m feeling these emotions and willfully they will for you too! ♥️

Pre-diabetes is our body turning on the “warning lights”. If your blood glucose levels are 100 - 125 or your A1C is 5.7 - 6.4, you’ve developed pre-diabetes. It’s not an immediate death sentence, but it is your body letting you know that you need to make some lifestyle adjustments or you will develop Type 2 diabetes and face a variety of other, life threatening, complications.
