Join us for the Johnson City Schools Back-to-School Bash at Science Hill High School on Monday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
We'll be providing:

🎒 FREE backpacks & school supplies (while supplies last)
✂️ FREE haircuts

This event is open to all students entering Kindergarten through 12th grade, helping them start the new school year feeling confident and prepared.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Leslie Snapp as the new Assistant Principal at North Side Elementary School! 💙

A dedicated member of the Johnson City Schools family for more than a decade, Leslie has served students in a variety of roles at Fairmont Elementary, including instructional assistant, tutor, classroom teacher, mentor, and teacher leader. Her passion for supporting students, families, and fellow educators, combined with her commitment to lifelong learning, make her a wonderful addition to the North Side team.

"I am very excited to begin this school year at North Side Elementary as Assistant Principal. I can't wait to meet the students, faculty, staff, and community. It is going to be a great year as a North Side Navigator!" said Leslie.

Join North Side families and the PTA Board this summer at the North Side playground for popsicles and a play date! We’ll provide the popsicles, you bring the whole family - siblings welcome!

Today we celebrate our wonderful crossing guard, Ms. Doris Hampton! Ms. Doris has brought so much joy to our North Side family with her warm smile, friendly waves, and unforgettable dance moves that brighten each morning and afternoon for our students, staff, and families. She has made every arrival to school a little more special, and we are so grateful for the love and care she has shown our community. While we will miss seeing her dancing at the crosswalk, we are excited for her as she begins a new chapter, moving to Greensboro, North Carolina, to be closer to her daughter. Thank you, Ms. Doris, for keeping our students safe and filling our days with happiness. We wish you all the best—you will always have a special place in the hearts of our North Side family!
