As we begin a new week, may we choose to follow Christ wholeheartedly, allowing Him to transform our hearts and minds. Our prayer is that every member of the Lakeway Christian Schools family would seek God's will above all else and reflect His love in every classroom, on every field, and in every interaction.

At Lakeway Christian Schools, our theme for this year is Grounded and Growing, drawn from Romans 12:1-2. Before Paul ever calls us to do anything for God, he reminds us of everything God has already done for us through Jesus Christ. Because of His mercy, grace, and sacrifice, we are called to offer our lives back to Him as "living sacrifices" not out of obligation, but as our joyful and logical response to the gospel. We are convinced that God's will for our lives is good, pleasing, and perfect, and that He is actively transforming His people into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. Growth does not begin with self-improvement; it begins with surrender. When we recognize that we are not our own, but have been bought with a price, we learn to glorify God with every part of our lives.

This year, we want to be a school community that is both grounded in truth and growing in Christlikeness. In a world that increasingly denies the existence of a Creator, rejects absolute morality, and questions absolute truth, we will stand firmly on God's Word. We understand that every thought shapes an action, every action forms a habit, every habit molds a character, and character ultimately influences destiny. Therefore, we will seek the renewing of our minds through Scripture, prayer, worship, and obedience. Whether in the classroom, on the field, in the hallways, on the stage, or in our homes, our desire is to honor Christ in all things. If Jesus Christ is truly God and willingly gave His life for us, then no sacrifice we could ever make for Him is too great. May this be a year in which we are deeply grounded in the gospel and continually growing into the people God has called us to be.

At the TCA Early Learning Center, Chapel is a special time when our PreK students gather together to worship, pray, sing, and learn about God's love. It's a joyful time that helps lay a strong spiritual foundation while building friendships that feel more like family.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we also honor America 250, a milestone marking 250 years since the founding of our nation.
