It was a great year for PTO!! Just a little bit of what we did this year. :) We couldn't have done it without our members, sponsors, volunteers, teachers, and families! It takes a village and we have the best one at BCE! We thank you for supporting our PTO!!! ❤️🖤🐻💪

Rain tried to slow us down, schedule changes kept us on our toes, but our school community showed up and made the Color Run a HUGE success anyway! 🌈💥
From the laughter and smiles to the colorful chaos, today proved that a little rain can’t wash away school spirit. Thank you to every student, parent, volunteer, sponsor, and staff member who rolled with the changes and helped make the day unforgettable.
We are so grateful for this amazing community and all the support shown for our school. Muddy shoes, colorful shirts, and happy hearts made this one for the books! 🎉
Feel free to add your photos in the comments!!

Want to preserve those Color Run shirts?!
🧽 1. Don’t Wash It Yet!
Hold o on washing the shirt right away. Let the colour powder sit on the fabric for at least 1–2 days to help it "set."
🫨2. Shake It Out (Gently)
Take the shirt outside and give it a gentle shake to remove any extra, loose powder. Try not to rub or brush it o too much.
🧴3. Spray with Vinegar
Mix equal parts white vinegar and cold water in a spray bottle. Lightly spray the coloured areas of the shirt until they’re damp—but not soaked. This helps lock in the colour.
☀️4. Let It Dry Completely
Hang the shirt up and let it air dry in a shaded spot (not in direct sunlight).
🔥5. Heat Set the Colour
Once dry, you can help set the colours using heat:
•Ironing option: Put a clean cloth over the shirt and gently iron the colourful areas.
•Dryer option: Tumble dry on high heat for about 10–15 minutes.
🧼🫧6. Wash Carefully (Only if You Need To)
If you need to wash the shirt later:
•Turn it inside out.
•Use cold water on a gentle cycle.
•Avoid bleach and strong detergents.
•Let it air dry rather than using the dryer.
