We are excited to welcome Chris Evans as our new Girls Varsity Head Basketball Coach!

A former collegiate and professional player, Coach Evans brings more than 10 years of coaching experience to Charleston Collegiate. He has led teams to multiple championships, including back-to-back Deep South Tournament titles and a Run for Roses Tournament championship, earning his 2023 16U Charleston Raptors team a bid to the US Open in Memphis.

Most recently, Coach Evans served as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Porter-Gaud for three years, where he focused on developing not only skilled basketball players, but confident, disciplined and resilient young women.

Coach Evans believes in developing the whole athlete and using basketball to teach leadership, accountability, perseverance and life skills.

We are thrilled to have his passion, experience and leadership on our campus and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for Sun Devil Basketball! 🏀☀️
