Matthew and his crew spent 5 days amidst deep rooted history under the direction of Arborists Ash and Lizzie. Huge thanks to David Grant with the City for his assistance in logistics & oversight. It was a team effort that yielded incredible results!

CTE was happy to assist this homeowner and the Town of Mount Pleasant by unblocking the street and making this home safer. Good example of how important it is to have your trees inspected as most internal decay can be identified before this type of failure scenario by a trained arborist.
Let us help save your home and your trees by giving us a call!

Pecan Tree Preservation⛑️brought to you by CTE!
Have you ever heard of tree cabling? It was developed in the early 1900s as an alternative to cutting down historic trees.
Utility wire is strung between branches to help keep the harsh elements such as wind and ice from breaking the tree apart.
Tree cabling materials have changed very little over the years but Cobra dynamic cable is an easy to install rope-like material that absorbs shock well. If you have every watched trees swaying in the wind, then you can easily see the reason behind installing restraints with characteristics that mimic a tree’s natural reaction to wind. It acts as a supplemental support system and should be monitored annually.
Call us today to schedule your consultation.

In honor of National Wine Day, we thought it was appropriate to give credit to the Quercus suber, commonly known as the “Cork oak” that makes most of world’s organic wine stoppers.
These trees can live for up to 400 years and are highly protected for their valuable bark that is impermeable to liquids and gas.
Although most corks you see in the local grocery store are made of a cost effective synthetic material, these trees produce an ideal wine stopper as the outer bark is rot resistant, soft and buoyant.
Just another way that trees play a role in our lives.
