You may have started a business and now realize you need systems, processes or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) so when it’s time to bring someone else in, they can actually be trained to do things the way you need them done.

You may have a great idea, but the workflow behind it is all over the place.

You may be working full-time, managing a family and building something on the side — and simply don’t have the capacity to figure out every administrative piece yourself.

Maybe you need professional development, customized training, strategy, education or just another experienced set of eyes to help you organize what you’re trying to build.

And sometimes you don’t know what the solution is yet.

You just know, “I need some help with this.”

That’s where The Teacher’s Chair™ can come in.

It’s a space where strategy, education, professional development and real-world support meet — helping individuals, businesses and organizations identify the gaps, create structure and determine their next step.

I’m sharing this here because somebody on my friends list may see themselves, their business, their organization — or even a friend — in something I just said.

Beauty professionals, there is an entire side of our industry that many of us were never fully introduced to.

Medical hair loss. Cranial prostheses. Healthcare referrals. Insurance considerations. And most importantly — understanding how to confidently support a client when hair loss is connected to a medical condition.

Being able to share this information in healthcare spaces has reminded me how important it is for beauty professionals to understand where we fit in the conversation too.

I’ll be opening registration for my **Live Medical Hair Loss & Cranial Prosthesis Foundations Class** for beauty professionals who want to learn more about this specialty and understand what their next steps could look like.

If a client experiencing medical hair loss were referred to you today, would you

What happens when a healthcare provider refers a medical hair-loss client to your chair?

Would you know what to do next?

Beauty professionals are already serving clients experiencing alopecia, cancer-related hair loss, hormonal hair loss and other medically related conditions — but many were never taught how beauty services fit into the larger healthcare and referral process.

That gap is exactly why this education matters.

I recently had the opportunity to educate healthcare staff at Grady on medical hair loss, cranial prostheses, patient resources and the important connection between healthcare providers and beauty professionals.

Now I’m bringing that foundation to beauty professionals.

Registration is open for my Live Medical Hair Loss & Cranial Prosthesis Foundations Class.

This class is for the beauty professional who has heard about cranial prostheses and medical wigs but wants to understand the foundation BEFORE trying to add the service.

We’ll talk about medical hair loss, referrals, your role as the beauty professional, the client journey, cranial prosthesis basics and how beauty and healthcare can work together.

If a provider referred a client to you tomorrow, would you be prepared?

I learned a lot of this by trial and error — but **you don’t have to.**

Medical hair loss and cranial prosthesis services go far beyond simply providing a wig. Understanding consultations, referrals, documentation, and where insurance may fit into the process can open an entirely different lane within the beauty industry.

And for beauty professionals who want to expand their knowledge, confidence, and services, this is a specialty worth understanding.

My **Medical Hair Loss & Cranial Prosthesis Foundations — Live Zoom** is designed to help you understand the basics and determine what your next step could look like.

Being invited to sit on the panel at the Kinky Coily Festival in Austin, Texas was such a great experience.

One of the conversations we had centered around the hair journey and the importance of educating yourself so you can feel confident in the choices you make.

I also had the opportunity to bring awareness to medical hair loss, cranial prostheses, and resources that many clients - and even beauty professionals - may not realize are available.

So let me ask you:
If a client experiencing medical hair loss sat in your chair today, would you know what to do next?

That's a conversation I think more beauty professionals need to be having.

47 looks a little different from Japan & Vietnam. ✈️🇯🇵🇻🇳🥂

This birthday was about experiences, gratitude, freedom and seeing a little more of the world. And somewhere between packing my hair tools, keeping my scalp together through long flights 😂 and answering all the questions y’all were sending me, I realized I had quite a few travel tips to share.

So I put some of my favorite travel essentials, scalp-care tips and packing hacks into one guide for you. ❤️

Wish me a Happy Birthday in the comments 🎂 and I’ll send it your way.

Here’s to 47, more stamps in the passport, more education, more beauty and doing life in a way that feels good. ✨

She didn’t just need hair… she wanted to look and feel like herself . 🤍

My beautiful client has alopecia and has been using her HSA/FSA benefits to invest in custom hair units designed specifically for her.

As a corporate professional, confidence matters. Whether she’s leading meetings, networking, or stepping in front of the camera for professional headshots, she deserves to show up feeling like the best version of herself.

When she sent me these photos after her professional shoot, my heart smiled. This is exactly why I do what I do. It’s never just about hair—it’s about restoring confidence, normalcy, and helping women reclaim the parts of themselves they thought they had lost.

Every custom unit is handcrafted to fit your lifestyle, goals, and desired look.

The weekend the Women’s Expo, four beauty professionals came together with one goal: serve, educate, and connect.

A salon owner, a braider, a nail tech, and a beauty educator shared a booth, supported one another, and proved that collaboration can create opportunities that competition never will.

Together, we connected with 148 women in just two days.

No sales pitch. No pressure. Just conversations, education, resources, and relationships.

There’s room for all of us at the table.
