Karate and this Dojo has saved my life countless times in life. The strength to never give up on myself when times were tough and the inspiration and joy that it brings me to be a part of a like minded community.

A Black Belt was once a white belt that never gave up. Whether its bullying, self-esteem issues, or loss please keep believing in yourself no matter what. The Dojo will always be here to help the families and children get through anything they are going through. As I sit here on a Sunday waiting to teach a private lesson, I look at this mat. I think of all the blood sweat and tears that have fallen through out the years from champs that have trained, kids who have overcome fears and big emotions, students that have grown and become confident and chased their dreams. It is here that I contemplate about life. I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity than to be of service to their journeys. To be a part of the hardship and the victories. never give up, and never give up on yourselves. These words are branded into us here.
