Welcome back! For those who haven't been here before, welcome! For those who are coming in again, we have some changes for you.

As a learning commons, we invite students and staff to come in and use our facilities for all kinds of instruction and learning. The key to a learning commons is flexibility: we will have areas dedicated to reading/literacy, to innovation in our Makerspace, to independent studying, and to whole-class and collaborative instruction. There's even a student lounge where you can take a break and charge up your devices!

Right now we are still waiting for our new furniture and our new electronics to arrive. Because we are still under construction and there are safety concerns, there will be limited accessibility for students. VHS students are welcome, and students with teacher supervision, but for now the LC must be closed for students in caf study.

You can still request books from our Destiny on-line catalogue. We look forward to seeing everyone very soon!

Your librarians are Mrs. Anthony (library media specialist) and Mrs. Noel (library assistant). Contact us at [email protected] and [email protected]

Remember going the movies with a friend? It's fun to talk about the details of the story while you are both experiencing it. You can do the same thing with books! We have a number of books with multiple copies, so you and your friend can read the same book together. Email Mrs. Anthony or Mrs. Noel for a list of our duplicate copies, go onto our Destiny Discover page, pick out your books, and share a book with a friend!
