🌟 Teacher & Staff of the Week! 🌟

🍎 Teacher of the Week – Ms. Liz Chan

We are excited to recognize Ms. Liz Chan, one of our amazing Speech-Language Pathologists!

Ms. Chan consistently goes above and beyond to support our students and staff. She willingly takes time out of her busy day to answer questions, talk through concerns, and provide support in classrooms when needed. Ms. Chan also demonstrates outstanding leadership during meetings, helping keep conversations focused, positive, and productive. Thank you, Ms. Chan, for your dedication, leadership, and willingness to help others. We appreciate all you do! ❤️

💻 Staff of the Week – Ms. Sidra Satterfield

We are proud to recognize Ms. Sidra Satterfield, who serves as both our Computer Operator and Attendance Clerk! Ms. Satterfield works hard behind the scenes to keep our school running smoothly. From managing student attendance to recently completing our October FTE scheduling report for the state, she handles important responsibilities that help our school succeed.

But Ms. Satterfield is so much more than her job title! What makes her truly special is her heart. She has received numerous compliments from students because of the compassion, kindness, and love she shows them each day. Ms. Satterfield reminds us that making a difference in a school isn’t just about the work we do, but also about how we treat people.

Thank you, Ms. Satterfield, for your hard work and the love you show our students. We appreciate you! ❤️

🏆🐝 Happy Athletic Coaches Day! 🐝🏆

Today, we’re celebrating Coach Gillespie, Coach Fennell, Coach Click, Mrs. Shuman, and Mrs. Click and all they do to make JES and Wayne County a better place!

Our coaches do so much more than teach skills and lead teams. They encourage our students, build confidence, teach teamwork and perseverance, and remind our Yellow Jackets what it means to give your best—on and off the field. 💛🖤
We are grateful for the time, energy, and heart they pour into the students of Wayne County every day. Thank you, coaches, for helping our Yellow Jackets learn, grow, and shine! ⭐
