🚜 A HUGE THANK YOU to the Neverman Family! 🚜
The Jesup Industrial Tech Program would like to give a special THANK YOU to the Neverman Family for their generous donation of an Oliver 77 Row Crop tractor to our program!
This tractor will be getting a second life as a hands-on project for our Small Engines students. Students will have the opportunity to learn valuable skills as they work through the process of restoring the tractor, troubleshooting, repairing, and bringing this piece of equipment back to life.
Donations like this provide our students with authentic, real-world learning experiences that simply can't be replicated in a textbook or classroom.
We truly appreciate the Neverman Family for supporting our students and investing in the future of Jesup Industrial Tech! 🔧⚙️🚜
Thank you for helping us turn old iron into new learning opportunities!!

As the summer moves on I think back on how great the first year in the new industrial tech shop has been! This year has seen many new and exciting projects. This year Jesup started a small engines class and the students had the opportunity to work on a few different tractors. Students gained many hands on skills and experienced some very intense trouble shooting in order to achieve the end goal. These opportunities were given to students because of community members who we can’t thank enough. We are looking to continue to offer these awesome opportunities while giving back to the students through scholarships. This tractor was donated by Craig and Cheryl Parker. The small engines students worked on the tractor. The tractor was then sold and all proceeds went to the dollars for scholars program. These are things that make Jesup such a great place! As I am planning for the future of the class we are always looking for rare tractors that someone might be looking at getting rid of. The small engines class is always looking for opportunities to restore a piece of history while giving back to the dollars for scholars program.

A cool project fabricated by Jesup Metals students!

I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Jesup Community Schools Shop Class for the amazing craftsmanship in designing and fabricating the letters for our “Happy Holidays” lighted sign. Your skills and effort truly brought this project to life, and it has added a beautiful, festive touch to our community.

We appreciate the time and talent you dedicated to making this happen.

I would also like to thank Corkery Paint and Repair for powder coating these letters. This will ensure they last for many years.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!
