You asked… we listened! 👀

We’ve heard the request for more mental health resources and opportunities for our students…and we’re excited to share something special.

Check back at 11:00 AM today for a big announcement about an upcoming mental health speaker you won’t want to miss!

A huge thank you to the Jesup Booster Club for sponsoring this event, and to Mr. McMartin and Mrs. Peiffer for helping make it happen.

This is a great opportunity for students, families, coaches, and our community to learn practical tools for building confidence, handling stress, improving performance, and supporting mental wellness both in and out of the classroom and on the field.

We can’t wait to share more with you! 💙🧡

To the Jesup Class of 2026 — congratulations! 🎓
We are so proud of each of you and all the hard work, growth, resilience, and memories that brought you to this moment. As you head into your next chapter, remember that you’ve already made an impact on the people around you…and the world is better because you’re in it. ❤️

A special shoutout to our Hope Squad seniors: Paige, Allison, Aiden, David, Camden, Max, and Emma. Thank you for the kindness, leadership, encouragement, and support you’ve shown others. Your impact will continue far beyond these halls. We can’t wait to see what’s next for all of you!

Today’s Hope Squad Spotlight: David S. 💙🧡

David is a senior in his third year of Hope Squad. Mental health awareness matters deeply to him because it’s been a significant part of his life. He’s seen the impact of mental health struggles in others and has faced his own challenges, so he understands how difficult it can feel to go through it alone. There was a time when he was hesitant to open up due to the stigma, but he’s learned just how important it is to have someone to talk to and to stay aware of your mental health.

David wants students to know that Hope Squad members truly care. They want to connect with others and talk about both the highs and the lows. Most importantly, he emphasizes that Hope Squad is a safe space that’s free of judgment, gossip, or sharing personal conversations. Opening up can feel uncomfortable and vulnerable, and the goal is to make sure every student feels safe, supported, and welcome.

If you’re having a tough day, David would remind you:
💬 “You matter because you are someone’s reason. You are someone’s reason to show up, to keep going, to stay another day.”

And when he needs a comfort meal, you can find him enjoying sushi!

We’re grateful for the bright light and compassion David brings to Hope Squad and our school community!

Wrapping up the school year with another Hope Squad Spotlight!

Today’s Hope Squad spotlight: Aiden GR. 💙🧡

Aiden is a senior in his first year of Hope Squad. He joined because he wanted to give back to his community and help out others in ways that made an impact.

One thing Aiden wants people to know about Hope Squad is that every single member cares about you and they can help by connecting you to resources.

His reminder for anyone who might be struggling:
💬 “You matter because YOU have an impact. You have friends and a family that care about you, and if things are rough, just remember you have the resources, people DO care, and people WILL help.”

One of Aiden’s favorite ways to de-stress is going for a bike ride for an hour or two and reset by listening to a good playlist.

We’re grateful for the care, commitment, and leadership Aiden brings to Hope Squad and the positive impact he’s making in our community!

Hope Squad helped spread encouragement during ISASP testing! 💙🧡

With donated snacks, we created the “J-Hawks ISASP Fuel Cart” to fuel our middle schoolers after testing. Hope Squad Advisor Mrs. Peiffer and Middle School Counselor Mrs. Weepie delivered snacks, sensory stickers, and bracelets to remind students: you’ve got this.

Proud of the positive, supportive energy in our school!
