π WCA GOES GOLD! π
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and this year, Wayne Christian Academy is going GOLD all month long!
We have a very special reason to make this month meaningful. π

WCA Student & Leukemia Survivor
Aiden and Kennedyβs stories remind us of the strength, courage, and hope found in our own WCA family. Their journeys give us an opportunity to celebrate survivors, support children and families affected by childhood cancer, and raise awareness throughout our community.
ποΈ OUR GOAL: Give every WCA student a simple, meaningful way to GO GOLD during September.
π FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH β GO GOLD DAY π
The entire WCA family will wear GOLD to school! Students, teachers, and staffβlet's fill our campus with gold as we stand together in support of childhood cancer awareness.
That afternoon, join us for a special WCA Gold Out Pep Rally, followed by our WCA Eagles football game vs. Lighthouse Christian at 4:00 PM. Wear your GOLD and cheer on our Eagles as we celebrate survivors and honor children and families affected by childhood cancer.
Then, let's keep the GOLD going!
That evening, we invite our entire WCA family to join the Wayne County community at Jaycee Stadium for the WCHS Friday night football game and community-wide GO GOLD event.
π PACK THEIR BLEACHERS IN GOLD! π
Let's come togetherβnot just as a school, but as a communityβto shine a light on childhood cancer and show our support for every child and family affected.
GO GOLD. CELEBRATE SURVIVORS. SUPPORT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. SHOW WCA SPIRIT.
ONE COMMUNITY. ONE PURPOSE. GO GOLD. π¦
