🦅🎈 OUR EAGLE IS TAKING FLIGHT… ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD! 😂
Scott Simmington is officially representing Wayne Christian Academy in The Great Inflatable Race, hosted by The Lily & The Sparrow, on October 30th during halftime of the Wayne County football game!
And yes… Scott will be racing across the field in an INFLATABLE EAGLE COSTUME! 🦅😂🎈
But this race is about so much more than having fun!
❤️ The Lily & The Sparrow is a local nonprofit with a mission to serve vulnerable people and communities through anti-trafficking efforts, education, community development, and creating pathways to freedom and a brighter future. The Lily and The Sparrow
And WCA has an extra reason to cheer for Scott! 🙌
If Scott WINS the race, 10% of ALL the money raised at the event will be donated to WCA! 💙💚
The event's goal is to raise $25,000+, which could mean $2,500+ coming back to Wayne Christian Academy! 🎉
Scott also needs to raise at least $500 to qualify to race, so let’s help him get there! Every donation helps support this important mission—and could help our own WCA family, too! ❤️

Please feel free to share this post with your students, families, and class GroupMe chats so we can get behind Mr. Simmington and help him reach his goal!
Now we just need to figure out one thing…
Can an inflatable eagle outrun a dinosaur, flamingo, chicken, and unicorn?! 🦅🦖🦩🐔🦄😂
LET’S GO, MR. SIMMINGTON! 🏃🎈💙💚
