What an incredible year for our Jesup Dollars for Scholars program!

This year, we proudly awarded a record-breaking amount of more than $117,000 in scholarships to our graduating seniors. What an amazing reflection of the support, generosity, and commitment within our community.

To all of the students — thank you, and congratulations! We are so proud of your hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout your high school years. We wish each of you the very best as you begin this next chapter and pursue your future goals.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our scholarship donors, community members, and local businesses. This program would not be possible without your continued support and generosity. Reaching this incredible milestone would never have happened without people like you investing in the future of our students.

We have also received all of the scholarship photos back, so keep watching our page as we begin posting pictures soon!

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our seniors and helping make this a truly record-breaking year!

The Sergeant Jim Smith Scholarship application is currently open and due by June 27th, 2026.

Sergeant Jim Smith of the Iowa State Patrol was shot and killed in the line of duty on April 9th, 2021. He lived his life devoted to service to God, his family, and his community. He saw the importance of being an officer in the way he went about the job. By his death, he made the ultimate sacrifice that a law enforcement officer can make: he laid down his life to save others. This scholarship is to help those seeking to go into law enforcement or those who have direct relatives who are law enforcement officers. Will you live a life of service like Sgt. Jim Smith?
