Luke R. was recognized last night as JSCTEs Top Student in Construction & Building Maintenance at T Ross Brothers Construction Trades Recognition Night! CTE instructor Heath Rager nominated Luke to be recognized as one of 18 top CTE students from across the region. Luke will continue his technical training in Construction Management at Penn College of Technology in the Fall. Congratulations!

Twenty-one JS FBLA members competed this week in Hershey during the PA State Conference congratulations to:

Camdyn Stellfox - 3rd Place Cybersecurity - Camdyn is a Grade 11 student in the Computer Systems Networking CTE Program.

Zara del Rosario - 9th Place Career Portfolio - Zara is a Grade 12 student in the Culinary Arts CTE Program.

Trinity Bilbay - 10th Place Business Communications - Trinity is a Grade 11 student in the Child Care CTE Program.

Camdyn qualified to represent JSCTE at the FBLA National Convention in San Antonio, TX June 29-July 2. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Landon Knipe for winning 3rd Place in the Pennsylvania SkillsUSA Precision Machining competition! Landon traveled to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster last Thursday to compete. Landon is completing his capstone co-op at Norcen Industries, Inc. where he has been offered full-time employment upon graduation.

Congratulations to Kaylei C., a senior in the Health & Medical Assisting CTE Program, who just completed her 14-week Capstone Co-Op Internship at UPMC North Central Pa. Williamsport! Kaylei was recognized today during her Certificate Ceremony as being the first Jersey Shore student selected for this UPMC program and was one of only three students selected for a $500 cash scholarship sponsored by PPL. Kaylei plans to attend Elmira College to earn her B.S. in Nursing. Thanks to UPMC and PPL for supporting our Work-Based Learning students!
