Picture perfect weather awaited us along the streets of Jersey City for Walkathon 2026! 🍂 Students and teachers painted our neighborhood maroon with Prep Pride and enjoyed a barbecue and games on our field. The Walkathon is a celebration Prep's place in the fabric of the vibrant community we've called home since 1872. It also raises funds for our Financial Aid Program...and together, we met this year's goal. Stay tuned for more!

We were grateful to welcome Mr. Brian Dolan with our friends at Speak Sobriety for yesterday's "PM in the AM." As an Addiction Specialist, he shared his story "Rigged" with the Classes of 2027 and 2028 on the topics of gambling addiction and substance abuse. All year long, "PM in the AM" sessions explore various topics relevant to the formation of Jesuit high school students.

The Classroom Connection Program, part of Prep's Office of Global Initiatives, allowed 12 students from Ms. DeChiaro's AP Spanish Language and Culture class and the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica to connect with students from Fe y Alegría #52 in Ilo, Peru. At today's first session, Prep students provided online math tutoring in Spanish. Over the coming months, these sessions will allow our students to use their Spanish language skills in a meaningful, real-world context; to hone further skills in communication, leadership, collaboration, and service; to develop global awareness; and to build meaningful relationships with students from another country through an exchange of academic and cultural experiences.
