As part of an exchange through our Office of Global Initiatives, students were able to visit Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, and Misiones through a multi-week program this June with our partner school Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepción in Santa Fe, Argentina. This trip allowed for much cultural and linguistic learning, but also offered opportunities for deep Ignatian reflection during the retreat in Misiones.

Summer Enrichment Courses at Prep allow students to explore new areas of interest, expand on past learning, and prepare for the school year ahead! A few weeks ago, a class of Prep students led by Mr. Stephen Fahy of the History Department took an excursion to the World Trade Center Oculus to develop financial literacy around consumer spending, marketing, sales, and retail operational strategies. It was an incredible real-world application of what they had been studying in the classroom at Grand & Warren this summer!

This summer's History Study Trip allowed Prep students to explore Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima— travelling mostly on bullet trains. 🚅 They also visited our Jesuit partner school in Kobe, Rokko Junior/Senior High School. It was Prep's first visit to the school, which has sent groups of their own students to Grand & Warren over the past five years.
This year also marks Prep's first ever trip to Japan. The group learned much about Japanese history and culture by visiting many important sites and museums and created memories that will last a lifetime.
Our Office of Global Initiative has forged partnerships around the world to allow our students to become global citizens far beyond our halls!

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, family, and friends gathered in the Hammer Heritage Room to celebrate the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Four hundred and seventy years after his passing and nearly 500 years since the founding of the Society of Jesus, his teachings continue to inspire our work at Grand & Warren each and every day.

We were grateful to welcome members of the Class of 2026 back to campus today for a barbecue! Each year, Fr. Azzarto and the Alumni Spirituality Committee hosted an annual gathering inviting our most recent grads to join their brothers one last time at Prep before heading off to college. We are proud to keep the tradition alive!

With gratitude for his many gifts to the Prep community, we remember Carl DeLorenzo, '67, who taught history (and occasionally Latin) at Saint Peter's Prep from 1972-2017. Mr. DeLorenzo was honored as a Legend of Prep in 2009. Generations of his students and colleagues will remember the humor, passion, and style he brought to his work, and the warmth and friendship he brought to the halls of Grand & Warren. Please join us in prayer for Carl and his family.
We will share funeral arrangements when they become available.
