Saint Peter's University beat John Carroll University in the 2nd round of Alpha Sigma Nu's friendly virtual basketball competition between Jesuit colleges and universities. SPU is one of the ELITE EIGHT! On to round three ... SAINT PETER'S UNIVERSITY vs. FAIRFIELD UNIVERSITY. This round ends Monday, March 28th. We have to move fast and please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE this post on all of your social media accounts! Remember, what counts is THE NUMBER OF DONATIONS, NOT THE QUANTITY of money donated. In partnership with the Office of the Provost, Campus Ministry, Department of Fine Arts, and the William E. Simon Foundation, Ignatian Musical Pause presents the brilliant harpist, Merynda Adams. She will perform the works of Bach, Loeillet, Grandjany, Hasselmans, as well as Irish music.

Merynda Adams is in demand as a soloist and chamber musician, performing throughout the United States, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Puerto Rico. She has performed with orchestras like the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, New Philharmonic, Northeastern Philharmonic and colonial Symphony. She also has accompanied renowned soprano, Aprile Millo in recitals in New York, Delaware and Toronto.

The latest performance in the Ignatian Musical Pause - Lunchtime Concert Series at Saint Peter Chapel has been announced! The Office of the Provost, Office of Campus Ministry and the Fine Arts Department is proud to present, "Celebrating American Composers” featuring pianist and composer, James Adler. He will perform works by Paul Turok, Seth Bedford, Kevin Cummines, as well as his own compositions.

The event will be held on February 17 at noon. The event is free and open to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated. A light lunch will follow in the Degnan Conference Room. For more information or to RSVP, contact Maria Santiago at [email protected].
