We are happy to announce that registration is now open for Garden Preschool Summer Camp for 2021.

GPC Summer Camp offers a variety of activities, including arts & crafts, science experiments, music, open & thematic play, physical challenges, gardening, and plenty of outdoor time at Hamilton Park and other local field trips.

Camp is open to children between the ages of 3 and 5 who are completely potty trained. Weekly camp sessions are available starting July 6 and run through August 20. Regular hours are from 9a.m. to 4p.m., with the option of one hour of extended care from 4-5p.m.

We are a single, mixed-age class of around 13 kids, so limited places are available and students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The past few weeks have been challenging and at Garden Preschool, we have been thinking of our GPC families, friends, and neighbors.

We are also so grateful to our teachers, Ellie, Alex, and Denise, for their hard work, keeping our students connected during this uncertain time.

Spring time is almost here and our baby chick eggs have arrived! Our Garden students have been learning how to care for the chick eggs, creating artwork to make the chicks feel welcomed, and patiently waiting for them to hatch. 🐣

Garden Preschool Cooperative Jersey City progressive preschool

October was such a beautiful month for our Garden Preschoolers! The children explored fruits and vegetables available at the farmers market, created art with the fallen leaves, and went on a field trip to Ort Farm, an annual favorite.
