🌿 Woodland Exploration 🌿

Today we took a group of children from the 1-2 unit on an exciting adventure into the woods, giving them the opportunity to explore and discover the natural environment around them. The children enjoyed walking through the woodland, exploring the different textures beneath their feet as they moved through the leaves, sticks and natural materials.
We also took time to sit together amongst the trees and enjoy a story.

This week we took groups of children from Pre-School to the library to join in with some lovely nursery rhymes in English and Jerriais.
All the children got a lovely book to take home and share with their families . We had great fun taking part in some craft activities that reflected the nursery rhymes.

Today some of the children from the 1-2 room went on a trip to the Festival Of Words Storytelling event in the park.
All the children enjoyed sitting and listening to the stories and exploring the books in the sunshine! 🌞
We had a lovely time and got to choose a book to take back to nursery to share with our friends. 📚

Join us for REAL in the Park, a fun, free and family-friendly event designed to celebrate and support Raising Early Achievement in Literacy. Set in Millennium Park, the morning brings together families, early years educators and the wider community to explore the joy of early literacy learning.

From storytelling session to craft activities and a lot of ideas for helping young children build a love of literacy and language right from the start.

⚽ INTRODUCING BABY BULLS & MINI BULLS - OUR NEW FOOTBALL-ONLY TODDLER SESSIONS! ⚽

The first step into football starts here!

We’re excited to launch our brand-new Baby Bulls and Mini Bulls sessions, created especially for toddlers and young children taking their very first steps into football.

Starting Saturday 12th September at Le Rocquier School!

🐂 BABY BULLS
Around 16 months - 2 years
Saturdays | 10:15am - 10:45am

A fun 30-minute introduction to football, with lots of time on the ball! Sessions focus on movement, kicking, scoring and building coordination and confidence through simple football activities.

🐂 MINI BULLS
Saturdays | 10:50am - 11:30am

The perfect next step, introducing dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control and simple games, while keeping everything fun and age appropriate.

Our football pathway:

Baby Bulls ➡️ Mini Bulls ➡️ Football Bug

No football experience needed, just come along, get on the ball and have fun!

Delivered by Sports Bug in partnership with Jersey Bulls FC.

A huge thank you to The Jersey Showman for the fantastic bubble and foam party – the children absolutely loved every minute! 🫧🎈

And a huge thank you to Michael Du Feu from Jersey Delight Ices for bringing the ice cream van up to nursery for the children to enjoy an ice cream.
