New York/New Jersey Academy of Ceramic Art The NY/NJ ACA is in fact a work in progress that continues to evolve and improve on a continuing basis.
The Academy resides in over 3,000 square feet of space in a turn-of-the-century carriage warehouse, located in urban Jersey City near historic Liberty State Park. The ceramic relief in the previous post was dismantled and reassembled by Frank Stella into 8 works total, the first of which was this untitled work. Many other parts were fabricated to balance out the remaining seven works, and that was an aspect of my job.
