Pershing Rifles Company N-8

Hello gentlemen,
There was another military fraternity at SPC, AUSA, Since this ceremony is to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice to our nation, I was hoping that some of you may still have contacts with those officers and members of AUSA. Please if you can contact those officers and find out if anyone from SPC was lost in action, please let us know. We also had CAPERS, our coed affiliate, so if you can check on any members from that sorority, I’d appreciate it.

The event will be listed on the SPC calendar of events in the coming week. As for more details about the event, a formal invitation will be sent towards the end of September / beginning of October.

The event will be November 11th with a 4:30 ceremony followed by a reception. The Double Tree Hotel in downtown Jersey City has blocked off rooms for SPC.

The College is looking into hotels for alumni. The information will be included in the invitation. As for the time of the event, the ceremony is likely to take place in the late afternoon followed by a reception. Its important that I recieve an email address from you if you plan on attending so the college can send you an invitation.

The ceremony will take place at 4:30pm. If you plan to attend, I'll need your name, year of graduation and an email address. You can forward this info to [email protected]

AS MANY OF YOU KNOW DR. CORNACCHUA,, SAINT PETER’S COLLEGE FIRST LAY PRESIDENT, HAS APPROVED THIS PLAQUE IN RECOGNITION OF THE FOUR DECADES OF SERVICE AND EXCLLENCE THAT N-8 BROUGHT TO THE COLLEGE.

FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T PHYSICALLY MAKE IT THE COLLEGE HAS BEEN ASKED IF THE CEROMONY COULD BE TAPED AND OUT ON YOU TUBE OR THE COLLEGE WEB SITE.
