As Charity prepares to graduate from A. Harry Moore and begin her next chapter at Kean–Jersey City, she had one special request: a blanket to remind her of her school family and all the memories made here.
Under the guidance of Ms. Carmen, teachers and staff came together to learn how to crochet and create handmade squares, each one stitched with care, teamwork, and love. Every square tells a story, representing the many people who have supported Charity throughout her journey.
Charity, may this blanket wrap you in warmth, comfort, and the love of your A. Harry Moore family as you embark on this exciting new adventure. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.
Handmade with love, for a student who will always be part of our story.

On Friday, A. Harry Moore had the incredible honor of welcoming back one of our very own, Mrs. Pat Conroy, a 95-year-old alumna who attended AHM from 1942–1945.
Mrs. Conroy returned to our school surrounded by her daughter, son, memories, laughter, and so much love. Throughout her visit, students and staff showered her with handmade cards, flowers, warm hugs, music, and heartfelt messages. She was also gifted a special handmade AHM tote bag created with love for her return home. Mr. Jusino even presented her with a personalized AHM report card in honor of her time here as a student.
One of the most touching moments shared by her children was hearing that whenever something good happened in Mrs. Conroy’s life, she would always say, “It’s because I went to this school.” Those words are a beautiful reflection of the lasting impact AHM has on every person who walks through our doors.
As Mrs. Conroy visited classrooms, connected with students, viewed old photographs, and celebrated with our community, it served as a reminder that AHM is so much more than a school. It is a family, a home, and a community that leaves a lifelong imprint on your heart.
Just as AHM left a lasting impact on Mrs. Conroy’s life, her visit left a lasting impact on all of us. Her warmth, memories, and love for this school reminded our students and staff of the deep sense of belonging and connection that makes AHM so special.
Thank you, Mrs. Conroy, for returning home to AHM and for reminding all of us of the power of belonging, love, acceptance, and community. Your visit touched every single person in the building, and your legacy will continue to inspire generations of Bulldogs to come.
