“I’ve been in Jersey City eight years. I originally moved to The Heights, and then I moved down to the Grove Street area about six years ago. I originally moved here for Grad School, I got my MFA in Directing at The New School for Drama. I really only had intentions of coming here for school and then leaving shortly thereafter, but it was actually Jersey City that ended up keeping me here. I really fell in love with the community and the atmosphere and the artist scene here. I ended up finding a really strong passion in bringing high quality work and innovative theatre to the Jersey City community, and have to this day continued forward with that passion, and found a strong interest in trying to create cross medium collaborative works between local musicians, visual artists and performance artists. Shayfer James and I just developed a piece that opened tonight at Art House Productions. It’s an immersive devised piece based off a Grimm’s fairy tale called The Handless Maiden, and we’re super excited about it. Along with the creative team and the group of actors and musicians, we developed it from the ground up.

Did you see this? Saint Peter's alum Conor Mullee took to the mound tonight in his major league debut.

Shout out to Dining Services for an amazing & much appreciated late night breakfast last night. Almost 300 students came out on the night before finals and enjoyed a hot, hearty breakfast plus games and prizes. Of course, we think the success of the event was all because of the celebrity servers - Victoria Farris, Travis Whisler, Jennifer Wenzel, and Jan Reimer.
