Today our students made tool boxes, bird feeders, and cars using their woodworking skills. 🪛🪚🔨

Our summer learning program worked with last week to do some woodworking with hand tools and power tools! 🪚🗜️🪛🔨 The students built robots, step stools, and a Little Free Library.

Congratulations to Soaring Heights own Brooklyn West and Santana Robinson! Both boys qualified for the Junior Olympics in track and field and are headed to Iowa in August. We’re cheering for you every step of the way! 👟

Juneteenth marks the day that the last group of enslaved Americans were finally informed that slavery had ended. Let us honor the past and celebrate the progress as we move forward each day.

Our 8th graders had a great time celebrating at their end of year luncheon yesterday. An obstacle course, candy bowl and a friendly basketball match between the students and teachers made for plenty of laughs and unforgettable moments.
