What an incredible evening at Golden Door’s Enrichment Night! 🌟

Our students proudly showcased the outstanding work taking place across our enrichment programs, including Gifted & Talented 1-4, G&T Independent Study in Middle School, KUBO Coding, Sphero Club, Lego League, Entrepreneur Club, and innovative projects from our STEM Lab and RISE Lab. From coding and robotics to research, creativity, and problem-solving, our students demonstrated talent, curiosity, and a passion for learning.

Congratulations to all of our student presenters for sharing their hard work and accomplishments with such confidence and enthusiasm! We also extend our sincere appreciation to the dedicated educators who guided and facilitated these meaningful learning experiences: Ms. Venos, Ms. Chin, Ms. Montes, Ms. Logu, Ms. Florentino, Mr. Kopp, Mr. Mozumder, Mr. Tobias, Ms. Reick, and Ms. Lupi. 👏

A very special thank you to Mrs. Diana Figueroa and Mrs. Michelle Christophe for their leadership and commitment in driving these enriching program initiatives for our students. 🚀Our 8th graders took a field trip to Philadelphia PA on Thursday and Friday this past week! The students had a great time seeing all the sights and even showing off their bowling skills!!!!🚀

Congratulations to Mrs. Dayna Florentino for winning Teacher of the Year 2025-2026! 🎉 Mrs. Florentino has been a teacher at Golden Door for 26 successful years. She was nominated by several of her colleagues for her outstanding dedication and passion for teaching science. She is being recognized for the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm she brings into the classroom.

Mrs. Florentino has also played a major role in launching Golden Door’s very first STEM Lab, for students to explore and develop a love for science and innovation. She also organized the 7th grade overnight trip to Stokes Forest with the NJ School of Conservation where students learn environmental science through hand-on activities.

Her students absolutely adore her because she makes learning fun, engaging, and accessible for all types of learners. She has a special ability to inspire curiosity and confidence in every child who walks into her classroom.
