Chilltown Elementary School is a preschool and elementary school for children 2.5 yrs – first grade. We will continue to safely provide our top-notch education in our bright, spacious classrooms. Located in a beautifully renovated historic building, full of character and surrounded by an amazing park, we have redesigned our entire school - classroom layouts, outdoor spaces, arrival and dismissal processes, and health policies. Our fantastic teaching team has reworked our curriculum to maintain our workshop and play-based philosophy in a creative way that maintains social distancing. Class sizes will be capped at 10 students to ensure the social, emotional and academic growth of our students, as well as the health and safety of our students and teachers. One of our core values is connecting with nature and spending lots of time outside, even on rainy days. We visit Lincoln Park every day! In addition, we are building a natural, outdoor play and learning space as well as classroom gardens to enhance our new environmental and nature programs. This is school reimagined.

📚✨ "One Vote, Two Votes, I Vote, You Vote!" 🎩🗳️ The Robins and the Blue Jays took a page from The Cat in the Hat, learning the power of their voices and the importance of making choices! 📖🦉 After diving into the rhyming world of elections with Bonnie Worth, they cast their votes on cat or dog, Christmas or Halloween, summer or winter, and playground or tag.

We're thrilled to introduce Torre Randel, a multi-talented artist who's joining our team to inspire young dancers to reach for the stars.

Torre's passion for the arts and her dedication to nurturing young talent have led her to discover a love for teaching. She's had the privilege of sharing her talents with academy students at several theaters and public school children in New York and its surrounding areas.

Now, she's here to inspire and guide the next generation of dancers right here at Chilltown. Torre's energy, expertise, and commitment to fostering a love for ballet are sure to make every class a delightful and enriching experience.

School registration is OPEN!!!

When we set our tuition for the upcoming year, we had three goals:
📚To ensure that we have the resources to continue to provide outstanding programming to our students
📚To have the resources to retain and attract talented and experienced teachers
📚To build a financially independent school

We LOVE our families, and when you asked for tuition help to stay with us in our elementary program and also have younger siblings attend, we went back to the budget table and dropped tuition by $300 for our elementary program!!!!

We believe with fundraising and other opportunities to grow our community, we can adjust our elementary tuition for YOU! With a strong commitment to growing our school and to our families, we are updating our tuition for 2023-2024 for our elementary school and also updating our sibling discount.
