Do you catch yourself expecting the worst?

When I saw the first couple seconds of this clip, it reminded me of a poem by Edna St Vincent Millay about burning the candle at both ends which reminds me of how I feel that my life is currently going.

Sometimes I catch myself not accounting for the possibilities that I have not become aware of yet and the possibility that things will work out better than expected.

“First Fig” by Edna St Vincent Millay

My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends—
It gives a lovely light!

Let’s go on an AI magic carpet ride to remember who you really are…

The most important thing that yoga has taught me is that it’s OK to feel not OK.

However, it’s when we start identifying with those feelings that we get ourselves into trouble.

Avidyā as described in the yoga sutra is Ignorance.

Not unintelligence, but ignorance in the sense of forgetting who you truly are.

Mistaking the temporary as permanent, and your thoughts as the Truth.

Thanks to studying and practicing yoga, I can remember that however bad I feel in a given moment, it will pass, and it does not define me.

Write “OKAY” in the comments to remind yourself that you are not your thoughts 👇👇👇

Next question is…who are you really? 🤪
I’ll ask Tivali 🐈‍⬛🐱and get back to you in the next post.
