Congratulations to team The Compost Coalition for advancing to the regional round of NJSBA STEAM Tank. The Compost Coalition is a team focused on heating classrooms without working radiators. Our team R.A.I.N. is highlighted in this article in the Jersey Journal and they look forward to competing in the next round of the competition for our school PS28 and to represent the Jersey City Public Schools District in this national competition

Ten projects will be selected as finalists for three prize of $100,000 in technology and supplies.

Summer data collection Rainteam28 with rain barrel mosquitoe trap. Mosquitoes attracted to heated water at night from black barrel left in sun and solar lights when they fly in they are trapped on sticky paper. Larvae also have no chance escape.
