Always a thrill when Mary McGriff and I watch our students present about their experiences as teacher apprentices in the NJCU Department of Teaching, Learning, & Literacy Teacher Apprentice Program(TAP), a registered affiliate under the U.S. Department of Labor .

Last night we had the honor of recognizing the top 50 Clinical Interns in the state.

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our 2 awardees for ALSO being recognized in the TOP 15 as Interns with Distinction 💚💛

📚Sofia Asali completed her clinical experience in Union City & will join the North Haledon district as an English Teacher this fall

📚 Sofia Kanakaki competed her clinical in Bayonne & will join the Jersey City Public School District as an Elementary Teacher this fall

📌John was the first lead intern in the TIP program almost 10 years ago. He’s now teaching at where he interned.
