✨ Happy International Dot Day, PS #25 Superstars! ✨

On Friday, our whole school celebrated International Dot Day, inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, a story that encourages children to “make their mark” and discover their creativity, courage, and potential.

In the library, our Superstars explored character traits and growth mindset, reflecting on the positive qualities they see in themselves and adding their own special dots to our Dot Wall Mural!

Parents, be sure to stop by the library during Back-to-School Night on Tuesday, September 22, to see our colorful mural and all the wonderful traits our Superstars shared. You’ll also be able to write your own message of encouragement to your child that will be delivered to their homeroom class!💫 See you there!

Our fifth graders at Nicolaus Copernicus PS 25 reflected on September 11th by discussing courage and what it means to be a hero—showing bravery, helping others, and serving the community. 🇺🇸

Students created a special poster and heartfelt thank-you cards, then personally delivered them to our JCFD heroes. ❤️🤍💙

A meaningful day of remembrance, gratitude, and reflection—honoring those we lost, those who bravely answered the call, and the spirit of service and unity that continues to inspire us today. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
