This is Lincoln High School Principal Chris Gadsden with weekly announcements.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving break. This week, on Thursday, December 4th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, we are hosting a Parent Meeting in the Main Building auditorium. Please bring ideas, questions, and a listening ear.

We offer after-school academic support through our BLAST program, and after-school tutoring will occur Monday-Thursday, 3:10-4:10 pm. Please ensure that students are completing their online assignments on Edmentum and Edgenuity.

The Leola Dixon Cosmetology Clinic is open for service. We are officially opening our clinic for the 2025-2026 school year. Lincoln High School Honor Breakfast:
On Wednesday, December 10th, we are honoring all of our students who earned Honor and Credit Roll for the 1st Marking Period with a special breakfast and their award certificates.

Tardy Policy
Reminder, 8:31 AM is considered late.
Students arriving after 8:35 AM or 1:35 PM will be assigned detention.
Morning arrivals: No store visits after 8:30 AM
Return from lunch: Be back on time
Parents, please help ensure students arrive before 8:30 AM. Doors open at 8:00 AM for breakfast.

Cell Phone Policy
Per the Jersey City BOE, cell phones and electronic devices are banned during instructional time. Devices must be turned off and stored in book bags unless authorized for health or disability purposes.

• Pants: Khaki or black only, no jeans, tights, short skirts, Crocs, or sandals allowed.

Once you set up the Uber Teen accounts, you have to enter the codes in the Wallet section of the Uber Teen accounts. Go to the Promotions and enter the codes for both Teen Uber and Uber Eats. These codes are provided in your email. Inbox me for the codes if you did not receive them. You cannot enter the codes on a regular Uber account.

Parents and guardians, please set up the Uber Teen accounts. Students have up November 27th to redeem the code. The only thing High School Nation asks is that students take a photo of themselves and their order, and send it to me at [email protected] or bring it to the main office in the main building. Hello Lincoln High School Family,

This is a reminder. We will have one of our first in-person Open Houses of the school year tonight, Thursday, September 18th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the main building. This is one of the few times in the year when we can all meet in person. This is a time for parents to meet with their child’s teachers and the staff and learn more about what we do at Lincoln High School.

We will also have community partners, programs, and services who will be available to help students and their families.

Hello Lincoln High School family, this is Principal Chris Gadsden.

We will have our Freshman Orientation for 9th grade students and parents beginning August 26th through August 29th, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, to discuss expectations and schedules, have students and parents meet the staff, tours of the building, etc... There will be a special session for parents at the beginning of the orientation. Then parents can leave and come back to pick up their child. Students need to dress appropriately.

High School registrations, transfer in and transfer out, will take place August 26th, August 28th, and September 3rd, 9:00 am-3:00 pm. These registration dates are for students who are not registered at Lincoln, need to transfer to another school, are new to the school district, and need to enroll at Lincoln.

Your child cannot participate or practice unless their physical forms are completed for football, girls’ volleyball, cross country track, cheerleaders, strutters, or drumline. Please contact Nurse Mangar at 201-915-6705 for assistance.

Uniforms for the freshman class are different. All freshmen students must wear grey uniform shirts this year.

All other students can wear white, blue, or black uniform shirts. We still have uniforms for sale at Lincoln High School for 10th through 12th grade students in the main building, cash only, one for $18.00, two for $35.00, three for $50, four for $65.00, and five for $80.00. Uniform sales are from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

We will post student schedules on Infinite Campus this week. Some student schedules are still being worked on. We are still adjusting based on how well students did in summer school.
