This modern platform features inclusive and reliable resources for women, girls, and gender-expansive people of all ages including but not limited to: Gender-based Violence, Menstruation through Menopause, Mental Health, Sexual Anatomy, and Sexuality.

Wow! Jersey City knows how to show up and show out!! What a beautiful day with the Zion Baptist Church community. We gave out 10,000 menstrual products in one hour. The period care packages all had vaccination information, as part of The Flow Initiatives collaboration with the campaign.

Special thank you to Tanisha for her beautiful ways and her deep love for the community.

Our weekend could not have ended on a more powerful note!

The research shows that students are more successful in school when they are motivated, engaged, and confident. As we aim to help build supportive systems for Jersey City students to thrive, access to proper hygiene tools and knowledge about hygiene methods will help students kick off their school year in a successful way.

With that, while many school drives around this time of year focus on back to school supplies (and that is very important!!!), JCLSYW Co-Founder and CEO of The Flow Initiative, Eiko La Boria, in collaboration with the beloved Jersey City shop, Love Locked, have created a Hygiene Product Drive for Jersey City families and their children.

Below please find a list of hygiene products, especially deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body soap, and *laundry soap bars.* Laundry soap bars provide a convenient way to wash clothing in the home, especially for those who wear a uniform and may only have one or two sets.

If you would like to donate, but are unable to get to the drop off location on the flyer, please do not hesitate to reach out. We can arrange a pick up, drop off at a more convenient location, or even look at other delivery methods such as amazon!

What a fulfilling Friday with the Gloria Robinson Court community! While hamburgers and hotdogs cooked on the grill, Jersey City families, community members, and leaders came together to support students as they kick off the new school year. We loved chatting with everyone, especially the kids! And as always, it was a pleasure to speak to Council President Joyce Watterman, Councilwoman Mira Prinz-Arey, Board Trustee Lekendrick Shaw and Assemblywoman Angela McKnight

What a beautiful event tonight! DCM’s First Annual Scholarship Award Gala, coordinated by Director of Triangle Park Community Center, Monica Shaw.

Monica is a Jersey City trailblazer and avid supporter of our work. We were so excited to attend the event and support all that she is doing for students of the Jersey City community.
