The BOTTOM HALF of your swing, is the FOUNDATION of your swing. If you can’t hit a solid WAIST HIGH to WAIST HIGH swing, it’s going to be hard for you to hit it solid on a full swing. Practice SMALL, then build up to BIG!

Show off with the POND SKIPPER SHOT! Hitting a LOW punch shot will make the ball skip across the surface of the water. This is a relatively easy trick shot and will unlock some extra fun on the course!

CONNECTION in your golf swing helps you be more CONSISTENT. If you become DISCONNECTED, meaning your body, arms, hands, and club all fire independently, you golf ball becomes VERY hard to control. Become more CONNECTED, by feeling like your chest, belly, and butt are the power source of your swing, and you WILL make better CONTACT and hit the ball STRAIGHTER than ever before!

There’s times that you have to let GRAVITY do its thing! Here’s a down hill short game shot where there’s almost NO WAY to land this on the green and have it stop by the hole. Landing it short, letting in bounce a couple times before the green, and rolling down the hill the rest of the way, is a great option on how to hit this type of shot. Don’t be afraid to use the ground around the green, there’s no rules saying you have to fly it all the way to the green or the flag!

All bunkers ARE NOT created equally! There is a HUGE difference between how to play a fairway bunker shot, and how to play a green side bunker shot. In a FAIRWAY BUNKER, we DO NOT want to hit the SAND first. If we do, the ball won’t go anywhere close to the distance we want it to. It’s absolutely crucial to make BALL FIRST, then sand contact. Make the club shorter by sliding your hands down the grip an inch or two. Then commit to a confident swing where you make BALL first contact, just like in the fairway!
