Animalearn Animalearn’s free loan program, The Science Bank (thesciencebank.org), is the largest humane dissection alternatives lending program in the U.S.

Animalearn is the Education Division of AAVS, which works to end the harmful use of animals in education, by building awareness about animal use in the classroom, nurturing a respect for all creatures & connecting educators with non animal resources. Animalearn, the educational division of the American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS), works with educators, students, and others to achieve quality humane science education without the harmful use of animals. and offers humane science products that enable educators to teach and students to learn anatomy, physiology, and psychology lessons without harming animals.

This weekend we will be at the PA Science Teachers Conference -Pa Science Teachers Association. With that in mind, we wanted to shout out one of our 2025 Humane Science Educator of the Year with an Honorable Mention Caroline Combemale, who teaches in PA! Caroline is a passionate advocate for animals used in science education. We hope to influence more PA science teachers to follow in her footsteps.

Let's come together and encourage the science education community to rethink dissection labs that rely on outdated specimen dissections.
