I am wearing my Literacy Consultant hat today to share some very important information.
"The Right to Read" is a documentary (Levar Burton is a producer) that uncovers and explains why so many, especially those who were in elementary school in the last 25-30 years, struggle with learning how to read well.
If that was you, or your children, or your grandchildren, I ask you to take advantage of this opportunity. If you are a teacher, or you were a teacher in the last 30 years, I want you to watch as well.
The next opportunity for a free viewing is on Juneteenth, June 19, ALL DAY.
It's only an hour-ish. You won't be disappointed.
