Nothing gets little eyes bigger than seeing a REAL fire truck pull up! 👀🚒

Our firefighters stopped by to teach the kids some important fire safety tips, check out the truck, and show them that firefighters are there to help when we need them. ❤️

🍎🔬 Little scientists at work!
We had some apple science fun! The children explored what happens to apple slices when placed in water, lemon juice, and vinegar, then watched closely to see which slices changed and how quickly. 🧪🍏
They made observations, compared their results, and practiced thinking like real scientists—observe, experiment, and discover!

🔬✨ Science is all about discovery!

We explored a simple iodine test to see which foods contain starch. Using a dropper, we added a small amount of iodine to different foods and watched closely for a color change.

🟤 Reddish-brown: little to no starch
🔵⚫ Bluish-black: starch is present

It was a fun way to make a scientific observation and see chemistry in action right before our eyes! 🧪

🐐🌿 Farm adventures made for an unforgettable day! Today our campers explored the beautiful Awbury Arboretum, met goats and chickens, and learned all about life on the farm. From animal encounters to outdoor discoveries, there were smiles, laughter, and hands-on learning all around! ☀️🐓💚
