October 15 is National White Cane Safety Day, a day dedicated to recognizing individuals who are blind or visually impaired and celebrating their independence, strength, and determination.

Eliza is navigating her own vision journey, and we want to show her and Ms. Gwen that the Jenkins Cavalier family is cheering them on every step of the way!

👻 No tricks, just math treats! 🎃

Our mathematicians in Mrs. Boggs’ class had a spook-tacular time using ghosts to create arrays and explore the relationship between multiplication and division! Through hands-on learning, students discovered how multiplication and division work together as inverse operations. Who knew math could be so BOO-tiful? 👻🧡➗✖️

The Burdine Student Council has spoken and here are the dress up days for Red Ribbon Week the last week or October.

For Color War Day all elementary students will wear green and elementary staff wear black! Flyers will go home today.

The Halloween Dance is rescheduled for Tuesday the 20th same time due to the girls basketball tournament this Thursday.
