One of my all time favorite piano students - who is also learning drums! And yes... I tell all my students they're my favorite... At least when we're together... Which is true in that moment! Every so often I get a call about whether or not it's good to start kids in music this young. The answer? It depends! I check reading level (they're learning a second language!) and determine the support level of their families. All the boxes checked with this kiddo and here we are just a couple months of lessons in! And you should see him practice his first snare drum rudiment while tapping his left foot on 2 and 4! Very thankful for my students! Keep up the great work!
