“School systems get recognition and awards when they have great teachers and great students, and we have both!”

Last week, LaSalle Parish Schools was honored in Baton Rouge by LDOE and BESE as one of the top school systems in Louisiana for literacy performance. While we are incredibly proud of that recognition, we know exactly who deserves the credit…our teachers!

Behavior AND Attendance are rewarded weekly by the classroom teacher, and are included in our BIG 9-Week PBIS Rewards! Students who meet the requirements listed can earn this special school reward!

This parish wide, parent quick guide was sent home with your child to help explain our PBIS program and how we work together to support positive behavior and attendance. 💙💛❤️

On this page, you’ll find information about our school expectations, rewards and incentives, ways families can support positive choices at home, and how we partner with you when concerns arise.

Together, we can build positive behavior, support every student, and help our Little Giants thrive! Our monthly calendars will share our Fun Friday events and weekly attendance rewards, but be on the lookout for our first PBIS Fieldtrip for the first 9 weeks! 🖤💛

🚗 We are so excited to have ALL of our students on campus tomorrow! 🛻

A few morning drop off reminders:
*Please stay in the carline and pull around with the flow of traffic. We ask that you do not walk you child in, unless they at physically unable to carry snacks/etc. Mr. Austin will help direct traffic for the first week or so. We will assist your child as they exit the vehicle.
*Please have your child exit on the right side of the vehicle, closest to the sidewalk.
*Please be patient with staff and other parents for the next few days, as we acclimate our younger and newer students to carline procedures.
*If you arrive after 7:40pm, please park and walk your child into the building to sign them in.

We have had a great start to the new school year so far and are so appreciative of your cooperation and support!
