LAE and Senator Jackson heard your concerns!!! Every profession gives a break, a chance eat and the ability to go to the restroom. There are far too many educators in Louisiana who go a whole day without these privileges. SB 128 will guarantee you an uninterrupted 45-minute planning period. LAE will continue to fight for the change that leads to higher salaries and brings back the respect you deserve to our profession.

The Good, Bad and Ugly in 2020 Louisiana politics - Louisiana Illuminator No year in recent memory offered Louisiana’s political leaders more opportunity to shine than 2020. Unfortunately, too many failed the test, cultivated their own narrow interests, or pandered to our worst instincts.

There will be two meetings on July 30th. The first meeting will be at 11:30 at the Brisket House and the second will be at LaBamba's in Olla at 5:00. Please make plans to attend so we can discuss concerns about the new year. Your meal will be provided. See you there!
