Rudy the Rodeo Clown visited Nebo today and held a little hula hoop competition. One of our Nebo moms and subs Megan Hanner beat the teachers and Paisely in 5th grade got the win for the students!
Thanks Rudy for a fun time and tickets to the rodeo this weekend! 🐴🤠

Some of our Nebo Braves are trading in the blue and white for black and gold as they suit up with the Jena Giants for their first game of the junior high football season! 🏈
We are so proud of them and can’t wait to watch them represent Nebo on the field! 💪

Our new little Braves rocked their first day of Pre-K! We have had two days of fun learning school rules, goose hunts, yummy snacks, and playtime.

It’s only been a week but we’re learning lots AND having fun!

Mrs. Janet and 4th grade took part in the Saving Sam STEM challenge - a perfect opportunity to collaborate to solve a problem! Students worked together to save Sam, a worm whose row boat has capsized and can’t swim without his life preserver. They worked in groups to rescue Sam, a gummy worm stranded on top of an overturned plastic cup boat, with his gummy lifesaver trapped underneath. The catch is that they could only use paper clips and could not touch any items with their bare hands. 📎🐛

This training is for anyone who wants to work as a substitute in the LaSalle School System and was unable to attend the training held on July 30!

Our Braves are going home with a new book thanks to many local businesses and groups! Thank you from Nebo Elementary School students to Ryan’s Body Shop, Fast L**e, LGH, Justiss Oil Company, Jena Pharmacy, Townsmen Inn, and the Town of Jena Police Department.
