Jena High School is proud to recognize one of our own for her dedication and impact on the students and youth of our community. Our Civics teacher Mrs. Candace Hudnall!

Our Civics students are back at JHS from Baton Rouge. They can be picked up in the front of the school.

We are GIANT proud of our Civics students who earned Mastery or Advanced scores on the Civics LEAP assessment! As a reward for their outstanding achievement, 44 students were invited on a grant-funded trip to visit the capitol in Baton Rouge and enjoy a celebratory meal together.

These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication and academic success, and they will also receive special recognition from the state of Louisiana at graduation for their accomplishments in Civics. Congratulations to each of these students for representing our school with excellence!

We are incredibly proud of our chemistry students! The Chemistry CLEP is one of the most challenging CLEP exams, with only a 39% pass rate.
These students scored 40 or higher, earning exemption from the final exam. A score of 50 or above earns college credit, and we are especially proud of Sam Bond, our first student to reach that milestone with an outstanding 59! We celebrate your hard work and achievement!

Members of student council delivered the children’s books collected during our book drive to a local elementary school, helping promote a love of reading within our community.

Baccalaureate Service is this evening at 7:00. Seniors should arrive in cap and gown to line up at 6:15.
