Oh so we’re SERIOUS serious 😭

Some of the most serious heart problems can be surprisingly hard to find. 🫀

Aortic stenosis becomes more common as we age, and echocardiography plays an important role in seeing how the heart valves are actually functioning.

For National Senior Citizens Day, we’re highlighting one of the many ways cardiac imaging helps healthcare teams care for an aging population. 💙

An echo transducer may sound like something from science fiction, but it's actually one of the most important tools in ultrasound imaging.

Using sound waves and echoes, it helps create detailed images of what's happening inside the body, without surgery or invasive procedures.

Yes, you can change the sheets without making the patient get out of bed. 🛏️🩺

It’s called an occupied bed change, and it’s an important nursing skill for patients who may be unable to safely leave the bed.

Caris Practical Nursing students practice how to change the linens while keeping the patient comfortable, covered, and safely positioned throughout the process.

It might look simple, but doing it correctly takes technique, communication, and a whole lot of teamwork.
