The girls had a great time partenering up with another local troop to bring some Christmas Cheer to the residents at Riverbend. They passed out little candy canes to all the residents that attended and wished them Merry Christmas. It was great to see the smiles on their faces.

Wanted to remind everyone that we will not be meeting this week due the July 4th holiday. We will resume our regularly scheduled meetings on July 17, 2014. We hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th!!

Pictures from the Mother/Daughter Tea Party we attended on May 17, 2014.

May 17, 2014 at 11:00 am, troop 1293 will be hosting a mother/daughter tea at Market Street Inn. The troop will be serving finger sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, scones and of course, tea. Attendees are asked to dress in their Sunday Best. Our troop will cover the cost for each girl and one adult. If anyone is interested please let Tara or I know no later than Thursday, May 8, 2014. We will not be able to accept any further reservations after Thursday due to seating restrictions.

Also wanted to remind everyone that troop dues are due at this Thursday's meeting. If you have not paid April's troop dues please turn those in as well. We have a lot to go over with the girl's this week. We look forward to seeing you all Thursday!

Don't forget troop dues for April are due at the 4/24 troop meeting.

The girls had a wonderful time this evening learning about the international space station, space travel and rockets.
