Have you ever watched a child dig their hands into dirt, mud, or a bin of rocks and wondered — is this actually learning, or is it just a mess?

It's learning. Every time.

When little hands squeeze mud, pour sand, or stack rocks into towers, they're exploring texture, weight, balance, and cause and effect — the kind of thinking worksheets and screens simply can't replicate. And the language shows up right alongside it: "slimy," "heavy," "bumpy," predictions like "I think this one will sink," questions like "why does the mud stick together?" That's the foundation of every STEAM skill we want little learners building.

The new school year is approaching fast .Many of you maybe entering school for the fist time. Enrolling your child in a new school requires early preparation. Here are a few helpful tips to make this transition easier.
First, gather required documents like your child’s birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of address.
Second, practice the new morning routine one week before school starts.
Finally, visit the campus to reduce first-day jitters

Maple Leaf Academy is an innovative STEAM early childhood education program serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from six weeks to five years of age.

We utilize a research-based curriculum in all of our classrooms and add in STEAM Learning Labs to ensure your child successfully learns and grows in the five major areas of child development: cognitive, social emotional, speech and language, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills.
